What happens in Vegas ends up on my blog - Day 2

Our room did not have a coffee pot so Friday morning Erin ordered room service to get tea and we ordered some fruit.
I thought I liked papaya but I was WRONG!
We met Erin's team for breakfast at Cafe Bellagio!
It was a great table over looking the pools.
After breakfast Erin and I headed out to walk the strip!
We headed north past
Cesar's Palace.
To the
Mirage where we went to
Sigfried and Roy's Secret Garden
and
Dolphin Habitat.
Then we were off to get show tickets for the next night.
We are sitting 4th row at Terry Fator!!
We had lunch at California Pizza and stopped in the Mirage lobby
to see the huge aquarium.
We left the Mirage and to the tram to Treasure Island
and the land of pirates and Captain Jack.
We went across the street to The Venetian!
Where we were going to take a gondola ride; we had the choice of outside or inside.
Outside looked so nice but very short so we decided to do the inside ride.
This statue was great and I walked right by without knowing it was real.
After I took this picture and gave him a tip I got a thumbs up!
The gondola ride was so much fun!
We had hustle back to the Bellagio to get ready to go to
Cirque Du Soleil "O"!
What an incredibly awesome show!
We tried to find a place for dinner after the show that did not have a line and ended up back at Cafe Bellagio!
We stopped at the chocolate fountain for dessert where I got ice cream and a chocolate croissant for breakfast.
Back to the room about 11pm and to bed!
What an AWESOME day!!

What happens in Vegas ends up on my blog - Day 1

My little sister, Erin, invited me to go to Vegas for 4 days on a trip her team won
I had never been to Vegas and was very excited for this trip.
Last Thursday I landed in Las Vegas at 1:30pm
and my sister was waiting for me!
We got to the Bellagio by 2:30, got checked-in, and headed out to find our room!
Past the Conservatory
and the World's Largest
Chocolate Fountain!
You can look but don't touch,
all the items in the mini bar are weighed and you will get charged just for lifting the item.
From 4pm to 5pm there was a social gathering with Erin's team and the people they brought;
what a fun group of people!!
This was followed by a meeting for just the team
so I headed off to the spa for a manicure and pedicure!!
After we were both done we had dinner at Cafe Bellagio!
This is a live, growing picture
made out of flowers, it is stunning!
After dinner we went outside to watch the fountain.
It was beautiful!
And amazing!!
After enjoying the fountain
I enjoyed some chocolate dipped strawberries while Erin had ice cream!
Yum!!
What a GREAT first day!

WAG NADAC Games Trial

What a wonderful weekend at the Willamette Agility Group’s NADAC Games Trial and Willamette Cup!! WAG knows how to put on a trial!! Thank you Arlene for bringing some fun courses and being an awesome judge!! And the weather was incredible!!

The puppies got lots of time to play in the field!
Eris

True
My little shadow!

The Willamette Cup is an award given to the team that has the best score after the first 11 rounds and if needed the last Tunnelers on Sunday is used as the tie breaker. Kant got 10 out of 11, getting 2nd place in the Willamette Cup;
we crashed and burned in Tunnelers 2 on Saturday!! But she ended the weekend 11 out of 12 running perfect on Sunday; so close!!
I love the teamwork Kant and I have!

Echo was 7 out of 11 for the Willamette Cup and 8 out of 12 for the weekend!
She is so much fun to run and we are getting better and better!!
Echo qualified in all 4 Tunnelers,
3 Weavers,
and 1 Touch’N’Go!
She got the last needed TNG Q for Champs
now we only need 2 more Regular Qs and she will be qualified to go to NADAC Championships in South Jordan, Utah!

Eris and True spent a lot of time in the barn meeting and greeting everyone
and of course watching the other dogs running agility!!

Thank you Joe Camp for ALL the wonderful pictures!! I have missed you!!

Puppies at the Park

As I was driving home from work yesterday enjoying the sunshine
I thought I should go home and take the dogs for a walk
but I was quickly deciding against dealing with all those leashes
so I decided it was time to take the puppies to the dog park!
In the beginning Eris and True were keeping close to Echo
and following her
but before long Eris was running with the other dogs at the park.
That black dot in the middle of the picture way out there is Eris;
her and Echo were running with a pack of dogs that included fast Whippets.
True was watching them but that was a bit past her comfort zone.
Even with all the excitment and distractions Eris and True had great recalls.
There is a path that loops around and we did four laps!!!!
Right before the last loop we stopped for water and
I picked up the Chuck-It.
So the last lap included chasing the ball!
Kant always gets the ball but everyone loved running after it.
Welcome to Minto Brown Park
Eris and True!!
What a GREAT afternoon and
the first of many trips to the park!
